      Them not actually thinking is probably the reason most people who fear AI actually fear AI. If a machine is tasked with maximizing a company's profit, it will make decisions based solely on the data points it is told to analyze, and no outside ideas, whereas a manager might take the whole picture into account.

  • Yes. After all the scifi writers and movies warning of it, anyone who cannot see this is a disaster waiting to happen is trying awfully hard not to.
  • I think I would prefer it to the overwhelming natural stupidity we see on display everyday. That is If I ever see a real world example of AI. Computer programs can be very good with linear logic. But usually fail at original random thought.
