      Bummer.
  • He's with Carmen Sandiego!

I used to play that game on the computer ages ago. I was always amazed how she would steal things like the Sphinx or the Eiffel Tower. Maybe a sort of a reference to real events, though, because there was a con artist who sold the Eiffel Tower to scrappers once, and Napoleon stole the Sphinx's nose. I'm pretty sure my son did, too. But I didn't know she was a thief! I got the boxed game Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego, but have never payed it, or the other half dozen games I bought from the thrift store for game night that never happened.

It's fun and educational. Carmen Sandiego is the villain, who steals national monuments and treasures and the player takes the role of a detective who has to find her and track down the evidence to make an arrest by solving (usually geography-based) puzzles. The 1985 game would be hopelessly outdated by now, though.

He had lots of educational stuff around. Maybe part of why he turned out so smart. I remember making my grandson do a multiplication computer game before he could play on the computer and he figured out how to set the multiplier to 1!!! Hahaha. Too smart for their own good sometimes! And I couldn't be as present as I should have been because I had to cook supper.
  • I accidentally squashed him with my stiletto boots in the patio. Don't look at me, you can blame Martin Handford who repeatedly halved the size of Waldo. 😄
