You finally posted a question that caused me to think. A security blanket is really a placebo or an illusion of security. I think my security blanket, if I have one would be contentment in mediocrity. I no longer have the desire to strive for excellence. I'm content with happiness in my comfort zone. My true comfort comes from The Holy Spirit, and my true protection comes from God.

Linda Joy Believe whatever you wish. That's your choice. But its not your place to tell me what to believe. That is my choice. NOWHERE in The Bible does it say that The Holy Spirit is God. In fact when Jesus was baptized, He, The Holy Spirit and God were in three different places proving they are three separate entities that are ONE IN PURPOSE. Its also very clear from reading the intercessory prayer in John that Jesus and God are two separate beings. They have worked together from the foundation of the world.
