Ever think of how Moses was God to Pharaoh and Aaron? https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/exo/7/1/t_conc_57001 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/exo/7/1/t_bibles_57001 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/exo/4/16/t_bibles_54016

Genesis chapter 1 the Earth was without form and the spirit of God was pacing back and forth over the waters like a woman getting ready to have birth and God said let there be light and there was light. Incidentally taking a look at Hebrews chapter 1:1 we find out that that light was Jesus Christ. And that he made everything after he was created on this Earth. A little bit later in Genesis God speaking to somebody says let us make man in our image male and female he proceeded to create them and then he said go have babies and take care of the Earth. Now what is this tell you it tells you that the people that he was talking to one of them had to be a female and one of them had to be The offspring. God was talking to the holy Spirit the mother image of creation God was talking with his son Jesus. So God was talking to his family he's got a family just like you and me and he wants you to be very clear on that he's not a three-headed changeling God he has a family just like you and me. So we have the Smith family Mr Smith Senior Mr Smith's wife. Mr Smith's son Smith Jr. So all three of the family members name is Smith. Now substitute the word god for the last name. Because God is a title not a proper name. The Bible gives us the proper names of the god family Yahweh Jehovah the husband the leader of the family. Holly or holy. The mother the wife of the family of God holy Spirit. The son's name yes you are Joshua Jesus. No trinitarian nonsense mystery here a family just like you and me have
  • One should think of how John 1:1 fits in with the rest of the Bible as well as how someone can be with someone and at the same time be that same someone. You will notice that verse 14 shows that many people saw Jesus and verse 18 shows that no one has seen God. In John 20:31, you might notice that these things were written so that you will no that Jesus Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, not the one true God himself. (1 Corinthians 11:3) But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 8:5-6) For even though there are those who are called “gods,” whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him. (John 17:1-3) Jesus spoke these things, and, raising his eyes to heaven, he said: “Father, the hour has come; glorify your son, that your son may glorify you, 2 according as you have given him authority over all flesh, that, as regards the whole [number] whom you have given him, he may give them everlasting life. 3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. (John 14:28) YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God. (John 20:17) Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and YOUR Father and to my God and YOUR God.’” (Revelation 3:2) Become watchful, and strengthen the things remaining that were ready to die, for I have not found your deeds fully performed before my God. (Revelation 3:12) “‘The one that conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine.
  • What is your question?
  • Very true. Only a Divine Deity can hold the title of a Savior to be called a God. Isaiah 43:11 "I, I Am the LORD, and besides Me there is no Savior." Luke 2:11 "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
    • Texasescimo
      It appears that you are saying that based up on Is 43:11 , that anyone who could be called savior would also be God. What about text such as Judges 3:9,15; Judges 10:1; 1Sam 23:5; 2Kings 13:5; Neh 9:27; and many other scriptures that showed Jehovah raised up saviors for Israel such as Othniel, Ehud, Abimelech, David, and many other saviors that Jehovah sent forth or saved his people through? Did Jehovah not send forth his son as savior (1John 4:14), and isn't God our savior through Jesus Christ, (Jude 25) the same as he was through the prophets before he sent his son? But Jesus was sent as savior of the whole world. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1John4:14;jude25;&version=49;49;16;31;47; http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=judg3:9-15;judges10:1;1sam23:5;2kings13:5;neh9:27;&version=15;49;9;16;77;

Quote: "What about text such as Judges 3:9,15; Judges 10:1; 1Sam 23:5; 2Kings 13:5; Neh 9:27;" Uhh, Jesus shares the same glory with the Father. John 5:19 "So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise."
    • Texasescimo
Changing the subject? That's good. Almighty God would never say that he can do nothing of His own accord. I want to know what Paul wants me to know rather than what Jenny thinks. .. (1 Corinthians 11:3) But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God. .. (John 14:28) You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am. .. John 5:30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

Quote: "Almighty God would never say that he can do nothing of His own accord." You fail to understand the meaning of: the Son can only do what He sees the Father doing. That's the reflection Jesus sees from the Father. It's just like yourself when you look in the mirror. The only the difference is: all men have fallen short of the glory God. (Romans 3:23) Jesus never fell short of the glory of God.
  • Compare John 1:1 in the KJV with the same verse in the JW bible. The JW version of this verse says, "...and the word was a god". This is only one place I know of were there has been just a slight change. Note the lower case letters and the "a". Does this mean the JWs worship more than one god? I wonder. Isn't it what the serpent did when he tricked Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit?
    • Texasescimo
Although there are many gods, do you believe that the Father is the only true God as the KJV and all other translations say? 1 Cor 8:5-6 (KJV) For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. John 17:3 (KJV) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
    • Thinker
JWs think they can justify all their teachings even when they are proven wrong.
    • Texasescimo
You haven't proved anything wrong other than yourself. I asked you a simple question and gave two simple verses from the KJV. Is that too much for you?
    • Thinker
The KJV says you shall have no other gods before Me. JWs worship many gods from what I have read. I know you are JW and I will not argue with you. I do not hold with your paganism
    • Texasescimo
Wrong, JW's worship only the Father. You are the one that adds at least two others to that. You make unsubstantiated claims as jabs and then run. You always have. (John 4:23, 24) Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him. 24God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

Try following the example in Acts 28:22 and you will find out YOU ARE WRONG on this just like all of your other ideas from your wierdo books like the Book of Enoch. (Acts 28:22) But we think it proper to hear from you what your thoughts are, for truly as regards this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.”
  • John 1:1 states: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (King James Version) Later in the same chapter, the apostle John clearly shows that the Word is Jesus. John 1:14 Since the Word is called God, however, some conclude that the Son and the Father must be part of the same God. consider what John further writes in chapter 1, verse 18: No man has seen Almighty God at any time. However, humans have seen Jesus, the Son, for John says: The Word Jesus was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory. John 1:14 How, then, could the Son be part of Almighty God? John also states that the Word was with God. But how can an individual be with someone and at the same time be that person? as recorded at John 17:3, Jesus makes a clear distinction between himself and his heavenly Father. He calls his Father “the only true God." John sums up matters by saying: These have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. John 20:31 Notice that Jesus is called, not God, but the Son of God. This additional information provided in the Gospel of John shows how John 1:1 should be understood. Jesus, the Word, is “a god” in the sense that he has a high position but is not the same as Almighty God.
