If your coworker tries to make it appear that you're not pulling your weight how do you defend yourself ?

I suppose you could confront them. But if you're doing your job well you probably have nothing to worry about. Other people can usually see what's going on. Depends on what your workplace looks like though

When it came to physical work I never had to, its clear to see and any decent supervisor would see that. It's a little more difficult when the work is intellectual. Fortunately my supervisors usually recognize my value quickly, they just tend to take it for granted later.
