GPU only works when BIOS reset, only for 2 minutes

thanks for reading. First my specs: AMD fx 6300 six core 3.50ghz 8gb of RAM Windows 10 64 Gtx 660 zotac Gx bronze 650w Motherboard: ga-78lmt-s2 Hd 500gb this setup worked fine for me for 3 years. My PC only starts with the on-board graphics,the 660 outputs nothing to the screen,to make the 660 works i need to remove the motherboard battery to reset the bios,doing a short with a screwdriver don`t seen to work {the PC stars in boot mode,but not the 660},after doing the thing with the battery the GPU works fine outputting signal,but after 1 or 2 minutes the PC restart automatically,now only working the on-board graphics,to make the 660 work again i need to do the battery thing again,but it will only last for 1 or 2 minutes again. this problem has persisted for 2 weeks now. any idea what could fix ? thanks in advance.

Go into the BIOS settings and disable the onboard video. There may be a conflict with the GTX that is causing the reboot.

  Thanks for replying,after the disable and restart the display dont receive a signal ,nothing from the gpu neither the onboard.

  Update your graphics drivers and check you're running the correct firmware.
