  one of the things I don't miss of the old answerbag allowing very harsh and disrespectful comments to those that aren't proficient in english grammar and spelling.

I've helped people IRL, online and over the phone with ESL/ELL. I've even subbed these classes at high school and elementary level. Many Churches, libraries, and community services offer classes. You could also mentor someone through your local school or Big Brother program.
