Ice man No, but thank you anyway. I'm just an ordinary member who's been around for a long time. Things can be a bit confusing for new members, so I like to encourage people and be helpful when I can. (But somehow, I think you already know that.) :-) -

Ice man If I remember correctly, this new version of AB was started back in Oct 2016. The previous version was mysteriously shut down almost a year earlier toward the end of 2015. The original version was started way back in 2003. I don't remember exactly what year I joined, but it seems to me AB was only a couple of years old at the time. So all together I guess I've been around for about 10 years, give or take a little..

Thinker You and I started about the same time on AB Ice man. I miss the old AB it was a lot of fun. This new AB seems too mild. -
Ice man I miss the original AB, I miss all the great people that use to "play" there, and I miss laughing until it hurt. We had so much fun that it's beyond description. I don't miss the "bullshit" admin, attention seekers and never ending glitches. What you call "mild", I call the beginning of a new and improved AB. No, we don't have all the bells and whistles that we had on the old site, but you have to remember this new AB is being built from the ground up, and it will take time to program all the bells & whistles that are yet to come. What this site needs the most ... is for a lot more of the returning members to stick around and participate. Instead of having a quick look around and leaving again. We need a lot more people asking current questions, and my hat comes off for those who do.
