The Star Wars? I think the real reasons have to do with oppression by the Empire. They are jack-booted thugs after all.

12-18-2016 Because they really don't care. They just want to hold a job, raise a family, and be fat, dumb, and happy. They won't even study the bible to verify the validity of "faith of their fathers". They will die for their right to avoid responsibility.

officegirl Well it works for me. Except the part about being fat. Oh and I was never able to carry a pregnancy to term so I don't have children of my own. But have studied The Bible and what it teaches me is that any responsibility I undertake must come from my inner transformation through the Holy Spirit and not from mere observance. -

Because too many people are too quick to blame wars on religion instead of realising that it is not religion itself that causes wars, it is the people who misinterpret religion.

The real reasons behind any war ever fought are: 1. Greed 2. Political 3. Land acquisition Usually a combination of all three. Did you ever stop to think how much the US government spends each year on just shoe laces?
