Which healthcare services should i choose in case of sports injuries, Urgent care Clinics or Emergency Room?

I watched a segment on News Hour or WSJ last week that indicated emergency coverage is declining and that most doctors at emergencies are out of network. If that's the case, maybe you should work backwards and find out which healthcare is in-network at the places you intend to go to? Then which of those, which has the most % coverage. I did that with my doctor. He only accepted two insurances then I knew which plan to enroll in based on % coverage.
