  • i use to stay sick but now i guess it's a couple of times a year.
  • I would say not at all, I very rarely suffer colds or 'flu
  • I seem to end up in the hospital at least once a year around November due to asthma and seasonal changes.
  • Not often- Maybe 1 or 2 times a year, on average.
  • As much as possible so I get immune to it.. normally 1-4x a year
  • I get strep throat maybe once every two years. I get a cold maybe every other year. I had my first upper respiratory infection last year and hope it was my last! I have never had the flu and I have to knock on wood because I come in contact with 100+ patients a year who come in with it and while I refer others to get a flu shot.. I do not. I think getting older will probably make my system less strong to fight things off as I have all these years but I have been lucky all my life.. with the exception of strep throat.. that is something I have gotten since I was young.
  • About five colds and two strep throats with fevers.
  • 1 or 2 a year at most
  • In the last twenty years- very rarely. The last 6months- every couple or weeks or so; I can't seem to recover :C
  • i usally just get a runny nose for like 2 days and thats it but this year i got a bad cold.
  • About once every 5 years now that I know what the opening symptoms are for my colds- post nasal soreness. The last time I experienced them I zapped them with Zicam and they were gone in 4 hours. Although I had a rhinovirus infection I didn't give it a chance to develop into a cold.
  • i guess maybe once a year. BUT I get headaches all the time though so...that's not fun
  • Maybe once a year.
  • A lot less since I give up smoking.
  • Depends on your definition of 'sick'. i'm an alcohol/addict in recovery - been in recovery for well over a decade now - in my definition my addictive personality is a 'sickness' which means I am sick all the time. I also am a cripple, knee, neck and other things are 'broken' and I have chronic pain and no longer work within nominal parameters - this two can be considered 'sickness' therefore I'm sick all the time. I get one cold and one stomach flu a year - without fail, almost on a perfect schedule.
  • 5-6 times
  • I'll go for two.
  • Mentally- 5-8 times a day multiplied by 365= 1825-2920 times a year
  • Once a year around the same time. When I catch a cold it triggers the asthma.
  • Once or twice.
  • It's really kinda weird, but, in the last 5 or 6 years, probably once a year, (not counting the occasional stomach ache, which sometimes comes from all the meds). I usually get a mild case of flu once a year or once every other year now. I went thru a period (from the age of about 25 to the age of about 35), where I got at least one major case of flu a year, plus 2 or 3 prostate infections, and a kidney stone or 2. Now, I very seldom get "really sick", (of course I started taking the flu shot every year, about 3 years ago, so that may help).
  • Usually just once, if at all. I do have allergies every spring, though.
  • 3 "real" times, the rest i just don't feel like going to work...lol
  • I've been sick from June till now, having the need to throw up and/or throwing up in the mornings. Been to the doctor, perscribed nexium. At first i thought i was pregnant, but no...i'm just roally f@#$@#$@. Lost 35lbs. Still losing. I think i'm gonna go for another opinion eventually. Cause it's gotten to the point where i really just want to be put out of my misery.
  • I seldom get a cold or flu. When I get sick, it's usually a digestive situation now like extreme nausea or the squirts. I had "shingles" a few months back. If I am congested, I just blow my nose a lot.
  • I am a healthy young woman of 26 and I feel I get sick too often. This year has been the worst. 2 flu bugs and 6 colds in the last 3.5 months. I can't stand being sick more than I am healthy. It really takes a physical as well as emotional toll on me.
  • I get sick once every 2 or 3 years.
  • depends,I am 19 now and last year I was sick 3 times, this year I been sick 3 times,it depends how well I take care of myself and how well I stay away from people who are sick! ^^; it just depends....
  • not necessarily sick, but i am very sensitive to getting coldsores.. 3 or 4 times a year..
  • I probably catch a cold at least every 3 times a year, while I only get the flu around every 2 years.
  • about 3 or 4
  • Knock on wood. But since I work for a Hospital I have to get a flu shot every year. I hardly ever get sick and when its like every other year, it literally puts me on my butt for days.
  • i rarely get sick, i have more issues with my joints
  • Started wearing the surgical mask about three years ago. First year, I got the flu once or twice....figure that was because the banks made me unmask to get in the door. Last two years they stopped that, and uncoincidentally I have gotten the flu not once in those two years. Before three years ago, I would get flu three to five times a year every year, for as long as I have kept track (about thirteen years).
