  • I'll elaborate on "jesus's" answer: The airbag light means that there is a fault in the airbag control system. If the light is on, in the event of a collision there is no guarantee that the airbags will work as designed. This is a major safety issue and could result in a ticket for you (equipment violation). You need to get the problem found and fixed if you value safety at all. You can have it reset, yes, but that most likely will not fix it. There is an error in the system that must be fixed. Given your vehicle is only 2yrs old it should still be under warranty. Take it into a chrysler dealer. Hope this helps, Good luck
