Bottled up emotions of loss have to be expressed in some way. If they are pushed inside, they will make their way out however they can, perhaps literally affecting other organs. Some long term lovers have died shortly after the first one has passed. On a more up note, the sorrow can possibly express through a creative outlet like writing, painting, fulfilling a dream, serving others in their time of need.
