  • I haven't had one that really satisfies. Try this: Get some soft tofu (we use Mori-Nu because it is shelf stable), blend in some lemon juice (abt a teaspoon/12 oz pkg), some salt (abt half a teaspoon) and a pinch of mustard powder (or finely ground mustard seed). I like using my immersion blender. The more you whip, the creamier it will be. Ideally, store in refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. You can also use soft tofu in place of mayo/sour cream/yoghurt for "instant" dips. We like dill, garlic powder and a bit of salt and pepper.
  • One you'd make yourself. I wouldn't trust any bought off the shelf.
  • i would have to go with my moms home made tofu mayonnaise , its great.
  • I've always used Vegenaise made with Grapeseed Oil...and it's incredible!! I was never a big fan of regular mayonnaise, but I LOVE this stuff. So I'm not sure how comparable the taste is, but it is delicious. I'll even use it as a dip for pretzels or mix it with some dill and use it for veggies. Yummy!
  • Without a doubt, Veganaise! No others I have tried even come close! My pickled pigs feet eating Dad even said it was the best potato salad he ever had recently!
