  • An old question never answered. Not really, but I think this question deserves another trip through the questions list so I'm answering. I have been treated unfairly, but I usually do well on tests. I used to get angry when I felt I was being treated unfairly. It happened to me recently with my housing situation. I got defensive and smart mouthed and then they got an attitude against me and it really didn't help the situation. My therapist pointed this out. That and the fact that I really do like living here, no point in aggravating the apartment management or the social worker at the homeless shelter that technically rents this apartment. I then rent it from them. But the best thing to do is focus on where you want to be rather than on the past. Unless you plan to do something to change the outcome its best to focus on your future and put your efforts there, where you can effect a positive change. Lamenting about the past is not usually effective or positive and really not worth your energy.
