POSSIBLY... They'll probably send up more rovers and such in order to determine if it would be useful or not. If it is deemed a wise idea to establish a presence on mars, then we certainly will. Supposedly the long term plan is to use Mars as a base for deep space exploration, but most likely, THAT will not happen in our lifetime. But there may be manned missions with the next 50 years.

Sadly, no. I always wanted to see that too. : (
-
doubtful but not impossible.
-
Most-probably.
-
Probably not. The bad economy will delay further funding. And at my advanced age, my lifetime has been shortened.
-
Not in mine damnit. Would have loved to see it.+6

I very much doubt it! the funding will not be there!! me thinks the world will be in too much chaos by the time my life comes to an end!! :-/
-
Yes I will as I am still toddler :)( I wish)++
-
Waddaya mean "will"? ;)~
-
Not during my lifetime I guess - but do we really know? It depends on political and monetary circumstances.
-
I hope so. +5

According to a show I watched on Science Channel they are planning one now. Go to Sciencechannel.com
-
I believe it will.

I'd put my cards on Probes to do a better job, at least until we contain more advances to supply our astronuts with artificial gravity, but as it stands at the moment, I'd hate to be the man manned on mars after a six month trip in zero gravity. ouch
-
well, my dads favourite saying was " lets just say, you never know"...........and I shall leave it at that ! :)
-
I hope so, yes.
-
I doubt it'll occur by 2021. ;-)
-
i hope one will

SORRY, most of us will be lucky to see another moon landing , just to head to mars we need to reach 75,000 miles an hour. That's one thing for a pair of rovers another for a space vessel that as it stands has a fuel to mass ratio of 60 percent just to orbit Earth, and it only reaches 8000 mph on its own 17000 in low orbit. Just to get there for a 10 man crew we need 20000 pounds of water, while plus there and back. The only sensible way is to first inhabit the moon, build a station to launch there than 1/6 the fuel is needed

I doubt if it will occur in my lifetime (I'm 53) for the simple reason of economics. The powers that be have spent so much on warfare that funds that might have been available are now gone. +4

I'm only just turned 23 so hopefully ill see something, mind you i wouldn't mind witnessing a moon landing either but landing on mars would be impressive.
