  • I would first ask myself, "Why would I engage is such action?"
  • I don't know why you want to do this, but I'll address it from a logistical standpoint.First, you have to determine what things you buy there that you would have difficulty obtaining elsewhere. Establish an alternate supply of those items. Secondly, you need to organize other like-minded people into this boycott action via internet, etc. Thirdly establish a schedule for informational pickets at the store locations (staying on public property unless you want to get arrested as an act of civil disobedience). This lets the general public know (continued on comment)
  • Send a notice of your proposed boycott to every news outlet. Join as many free online news sources, such as Newsvine.com and publish your information on them. Set up a boycott/protest website and publish your reasons and other information about it. Send letters to everyone you think would have reason to agree with you.
  • Both are giants, so tackle them one at a time. You will have more effect by concenttraing your efforts. You need to have a simple and clear outcome in mind, for instance, it's not useful to say, "we want better working conditions", but it would be useful to state somethin like "We want 40 hr weeks" or whatever. The idea is that your protest should be resolvable and within reason. If it is not reasonable, not only will your target ignore you, but so will the public. +5
