I rather like chickens - so it's fine with me.
-
the neighbours on both sides of me keep chickens and I love it, there is somethign cute and comforting about hearing a chicken clucking away when it has laid.
-
FUCK NO!
-
H to the E to the L to the L NO!
-
As long as they treated them properly, there wouldn't be a problem. If they had them as "factory farm" chickens. I would most certainly rescue them.
-
Does not bother me as long as they, keep them in there yard. +5

Chickens would be prefred to the barky chiuawa(whatever!) that I listen to day and night!
-
Just half a dozen hens, yes, great, but no cockerels.
-
I wouldn't care too much about it. But if they're killing them for food or some sort, I'd find that interesting and pretty cool, since it's so rare now a days to 'factory farm'...
-
Everybody has chicken in my neighbourhood. Except a very few. Its quite common here in India to have chickens, cows and goats.
-
If kept humanely, I would be fine with it. I grew up on a hobby farm and like all of those "Old MacDonald" noises.
-
Next door neighbours? No. But there are city ordinances against it. I wish there were stricter ordinances against constantly and loudly barking dogs. Roaming cats can also be a problem, as they rip into trash bags left for pickup overnight and scatter the garbage all over. Yes, you can use containers, but both cats and roaming dogs will get into them anyway.

I would be ok with it and I'm sure my cats would love it too:)
-
no but my fox wont mind!

I had a neighbour who had chickens and 2 cows in her yard when I was growing up. We lived in the countryside so it wasn't a big deal. Houses are much nearer now so it might cause a problem with someone.
-
sure if they gave an egg here n there when needed!
-
It wouldn't bother me.
-
We had some of our own but not anymore. Our neighbours do have some but it doesnt bother, like to hear them in the mornings. +4
-
I would, and do. I get fresh eggs for .50 cents a dozen.
-
I've kept chickens, so I have no problem if my neighbor wants to as well.
-
I would be happy if I could keep chickens. I've kept chickens in the past. My daughter loves chickens and wants some. I'd love to have that ready source of eggs.
-
I would be cool with it. I thought about it myself. I would build a chicken coop and raise them for eggs.
-
Sure..free dinner
-
I would be annoyed! Extremly ANNOYYYYYYYED! and irritable!
-
Chickens no problem. But if my neighbor had a rooster running around I'd probably shoot it. I can hear those little bastards off in the distance, and it's pretty rude to start waking the neighborhood at 4 am.
