  • Mostly igneous rock. Igneous rock is what you get when lava cools. It makes sense because, aside from the way they upwarp the preexisting rock... which could be sedimentary or metamorphic... whatever was there... most of the accretion from a volcano (especially very mafic one's like Mauna Loua) is from lava coming out the top.
