  • This happens to me alot, and a lot of the time I get really upset but that makes people think i did what ever was even MORE. I can't stand being falsely accused, if its something really bad ive been accused of or i get yelled at for it, i break down and cry.
  • That actually happened to me, so I went out and paid $200 for a professional polygraph ("lie detector") examination, by one of the most respected and preeminnet polygraphers in the state where I was living. After I passed three separate examinations in a row and had the results CERTIFIED, I handed a photocopy of them to my accuser and LOUDLY said, "Here's my proof that I did NOT do what you falsely accused me of doing. Now it is YOUR TURN to have a similar test done, to prove that you were not lying, when you accused me. WE ARE ALL WAITING!" After my attorney threatened a "take no prisoners!" lawsuit, I got a written and notarized APOLOGY from the pile of jackal vomit, and a promise that he would never falsely accuse me of anything, ever again, so help him, Almighty Gawd. Amen! +5
  • well it depends if it is in a relationship or not, if it was a friend i would tell them if you cannot believe me i accept that, but i really did not do this i dont want to hear about this anymore if you want me to hang around you, if you keep bringing this up i will find someone else to be around since you cant believe me. If it was in a realationship its much harder, i would tell them that i really didnt do this thing and if you want to continue this realtionship your going to have to trust me, for without trust you can have no realtionship.
  • Luckily it doesn't happen to me too much. When it does, I ask them to show me their proof so I have a chance to rebute it.
  • Stick to my story and defend myself that i DID NOT DO IT. :)
  • bring out the facts and let the facts speak for themselves
  • ask them to prve their allegations or else get lost!!!
  • This very thing has happened to me and I was most willing and capable of proving them and their silly accusations incorrect......Prove them wrong. Smile while doing it :O)
  • Honestly I would probably go bat____ crazy and either verbally or physically assualt them.
  • Actually this has happened to me more then once, first time I was handcuffed, and my cousin admitted it was him and my sister who broke into the school and I wasn't involved. I was saying no but the cops were saying I did. Second I was accused of being a run away, I swore I wasn't this person, even told um I would go in and get my id, I was still arrested and someone had to come bring my Id and get me out. Third time was my boss, he accused me of stealing quarters to play the slots, also got out of it because everyone knew I didn't play the slots, but the other guy on my shift did. They never believe me, even though generally if I do it I admit I did. (no one trusts weird looking people)
  • Story of Michael Jackson's life. Hehehe
  • Just say to them that you didn't do it with confident and then it's up to them if they believe or not don't care much about them and don't talk to them for a while that makes them think about it again and then when they found out the truth they will say sorry it really happend to me and WOW it worked .GOODLUCK;D.
  • I wouldn't bother to argue it with them. I know I didn't do it...what do I care what they think.
  • tell them to F-- off
  • I simply would not be around them anymore.
  • Things I don't like, I just ignore. It is the easiest way to let people think what they want. May be that some people hold me for arrogant but I only take somebody for serious who is really interested in a serious discussing by taking notice of my point of view. This does not all mean that everybody has to accept my point of view. But I completely ignore all tose smart-alecs in a quite friendly way by saying that I know nothing about this topic.
  • I think i would be very up set,and hate the thought of people thinking bad of me..
  • i'd say: "ok, i did it." if that makes them happier.. lol
  • Prove it.
  • It's happened before,and I really get upset,but it's over now.I just let them do themselves in.Whatever.They are of no redeemable qualities,so F em! +5
  • It will upset me that for sure,,,the normal thing we do is start to defend ourselves... but the problem is the more you will try to do so as we are justifing it the more your are satisfying your accuser,,, just leave them they will bark (sorry ) and they will stop eventually.
  • Ignore them; plain and simple!
  • The burden of proof always is placed upon the accuser.
  • Tell them to show the proof. When they realize they have none. Most will back off the subject. Then there are those who keep insisting they are right. And in some cases, when I've had all I can take of it. I'll prove it to them, how I could not of been in two places at once. Example: Someone just the other day, accused me of being at a site all day long. I told them I was in a different State that day. But they still insisted I was there. After hours of this going on. I then told them to put their money where their mouth is. When they pulled out the cash. I pulled up a security cam at a place 300+ miles away & proved them wrong. Then told them, to never again accuse someone unless they have proof. Most of the time I'll just pay no att: to a person who dose this kind of stuff tho.
  • I might say: "You honestly think I did that? I thought you knew me better than that." I may also feel extremely disappointed, hurt, and upset depending on what the person thought I did.
  • I recently lost a good friend because of false accusations. Everyone swore I was madly inlove with her because I always stood up for her to people who liked to talk trash about her. She swore the rumors had to be true because too many people were accusing me of harboring these hidden feelings. She stopped being my friend because she believes everyone who thinks I'm inlove with her. I just gave up she can believe what she wants and I just don't really care anymore.
  • Hmm... How about tackle them by bringing up some of their own issues. I know it sounds a little mean, but it should shut them up. Or, just simply try ignoring them, though, that usually doesn't work. Or, try some way to prove that you didn't do it.
  • first try to convince him that i didn t do it and if he s still not convinced i ll say "fuck you i did it,what are you gonna do?"
  • I would shoot them on the foot!
  • I'd confess and beg for forgiveness.
  • You have to stand your ground. The truth is on your side. I would just say you have the right to your opinion and I don't agree with you.
  • Forget about it. People believe what they want to believe.
  • HI I was accuse to sleep when I did reflexology , but I did not sleep I had my eye half close and still working on her feet. how can I answer to this to my boss
  • It is difficult sometimes, but don't get excited or react. Keep calm, keep your voice low and respond to the accusation with "I did not do that." Try to avoid using the words "wrong", "lie" and so forth since it will only antagonize the accuser. Tell the accuser "I see you are upset/annoyed/uncomfortable with what you think happened. I am willing to talk with you about this. But you must agree to listen to what I have to say." Understand that the accuser has their own "understanding" of speech, behavior and conduct. Something as simple as a "No" can be interpreted to some people as "Don't tell me what to do", "I don't like you/your cooking", or even worse when all it is is a "no." Realize that you may not change someone's mind about what they think really happened or what they think was said. Still, maintain your position and possibly make a calendar note of it or even send them an polite e-mail of what you would like to say. If this happens often, perhaps the accuser will begin to see a pattern of baseless accusations.
