Whenever they TRY to do something well. Praise helps a child become confident enough to try to succeed Everyone likes and feels good when they receive praise for their efforts or actions. Children blossom with praise.

praise often when deserving, but not for no reason at all, as that would actually be defeating the purpose. You'd be surprised how many parents do it, too.

As often as we can! As often as they deserve the more praise they get they better chance of them trying harder and wanting to get that possitive engery! Way to many people just accept the good things and dont say anything but then when something bad happens all heck breaks loose and some kids decide negitive attention is better than none and it becomes a cycle very difficult to break... so praise them often! Even for little stuff...

Kids should be praised when they genuinely deserve it. Praise should be balanced with constructive criticism. Ultimately, the goal is to help children formulate a positive, but realistic picture of themselves.

We PRAISE, as often as they EARN IT...ANYTIME they have attempted something new, taken an acceptable risk, given something their best effort and of course managed to do something successfully. We ENCOURAGE constantly!
