A lot :(

Yes.
-
Not really, I am interested in the answers.
-
No. I want answers!
-
Not in the beginning, as I like the exchange of ideas and discussion. A few people award points prior to answering, but I have found many return after you comment and award points on the return visit. Interesting question, and oh, before I forget, let me award you some points! :-) +5

Actually I like both but I feel more disappointed if I get points but ppl don't take the time to answer.
-
very much so
-
It happens to me a lot .People think I have enough points.. if I was disappointed every time I would be a very unhappy person. I do believe that if it is a positive comment they person should rate the answer but sometimes when writing a comment it is easy to forget.
-
It's a courtesy. I like it (as you know) and I give them whenever I can, but sometimes you run out for a person.

Lets put it this way. I would rather have 1000 answers with no points as to having 1000 points with no answers. I do not need the points although they do make me smile when I get them the answer is what I am after when I ask a question. The points I see as a pat on the back a way of saying I enjoyed your question or answer rather or not I agreed with it. Here on Answerbag we should welcome opposing views as a way to increase our knowledge and thinking at a different level or angle then what we are accustom to. Rather it is good or bad, it gives us something different to consider.

Yes, unless it is a stupid question. The way to deal with that would be to just answer the questions, and not ask them.
-
nope i like the answers. ;)
