Does anyone know why the holiday Kwanza has a manorah? (not hannakah) How is Kwanza celebrated?

G'day Power of Three Charmed Girl. Thank you for your question. I understand that the candle holder is a kinaras, a traditional candle holder meant to show African roots. The candles are lit as part of the ceremony. Houses are decorated with artwork, colourful African artwork and fresh fruit. Wikipedia claims that "A model Kwanzaa ceremony is described as a ceremony which includes drumming and musical selections, libations, a reading of the "African Pledge" and the Principles of Blackness, reflection on the Pan-African colors, a discussion of the African principle of the day or a chapter in African history, a candle-lighting ritual, artistic performance, and, finally, a feast (Karamu)." I suspect that the feast and libations are standard and the rest can be omitted. I have attached sources for your reference.
