  • Before I could form an opinion I would need to see the evidence that suggests Obama hates white people. Would that include his mother?
  • No. I haven't seen, read, or heard anything that makes me think President Obama is a racist. Beck's allegation says more about Glenn Beck than it does about Barack Obama
  • It sure seems to me like he rushed to judgement on this matter calling the police department stupid, call it stupid or a serious lack of judgment on Obama's part he made a huge mistake.
  • No, I don't believe it. That's an incredibly harmful label to put on someone. It's all for ratings, and it's working.
  • Glen Beck...ROFL! FAUX News...bwaa haa... Who in their right mind still watches/listens to those idiots?
  • He takes pity on muslim terrorists, what more proof do you need?
  • No. Fux News has had a long history of jumping to conclusions. Often unwarranted.
  • Fox News. What are you going to listen to next, Rush Limbaugh? Anyone who is a right wing asshole has the most deep seated hatred for anything that does not support their hate. This guy is in the category of stupid white men that are going the way of the dinosaur. Trash talk at its most embarrassing. Do you read Ann Coulter too?
  • Considering that his preacher and close friends(Prof. Gates) are obvious racists, why wouldn't he be? I don't hang out with Klan members, because I don't believe in what they represent and I don't want to be thought of as a racist.
  • I don't think anything Glenn Beck says is true. Why would I believe the wingnut now?
  • When he said Typical White Person I knew that he had a bias and that he might be confused or worse racist. According to all the civil rights activist you can't be a little racist so now you know my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzfmaUhfejQ
  • No, not for a moment. There's nothing at all "deep" about this guy.
  • Nope, as you can see.....Fox news has a bad reputation......
  • The "pot is calling the kettle black". He has a lot of nerve. Maybe because Beck has such a deep-seated hatred for black people.
  • Coming from a guy who's religion taught that blacks were cursed for most of it's existence, including a good chunk of his lifetime, all I can do is laugh at the irony.
  • I just love Glenn Beck's sanity....and I fear for it....;-D... . . .
  • Obama has done a good job handling race issues so far. I wish he had demonstrated more determination in condemning the stance of Jeremiah Wright - but I'm willing to cut him a little slack because it can be really hard to sever yourself from a church minister who helped you initially in your in career. And he gave a pretty good speech that vindicated himself well, I think. Unfortunately, I think we will never know Obama's true feelings and thoughts about race until well after he's done with the presidency. One has to be free from political liability before one can be truly honest. I don't see Glenn Beck as having earned any credibility on racial issues. Until he demonstrates the ability to mend fences between people of different colors, as Obama has done, he should refrain from accusing others of racism.
  • President Obama associates or has associated with racists and race hucksters. He also occasionally says things that, if said by a white person, would result in the press and many people concluding that he was racist. . Beck is entitled to his opinion. For my part I don't think President Obama is as race neutral as many people believe but he's not racist as such. . And "deep-seated hatred for whites" is not supported by anything at all.
  • Glenn Beck is a comedian and an entertainer. I put as much stock in what he has to say as I do in the amazing wisdom of Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Gene Simmons, or any other morsel of celebrity brain candy. I'm also old enough to remember when news anchors didn't roll their eyes, huff in disgust at a story, openly flirt with their co-hosts, formulate and express their own opinions off-script, and actually cover news WITHOUT BIAS. R.I.P. Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, Charles Kuralt, Ed Bradley, et al. You are deeply missed.
  • Since Obama was raised by white folks , ( his mother and grandmother), I would think this statement from Glenn Beck is just more of his nonsense. Indeed, fox news is nonsense - try getting your news from the BBC or the CBC sometime and dump the American Propaganda outlets entirely.
  • I believe that people can be racist and not realize it. They may not like jews, for example or poor people. That is their problem. They grew up with in tolarance for anything they didn't understand and no one educated them. Some people are uncomfortable around people who don't speak their language. I don't know about Obama being a racist. He just seems to like himself above all others.lol He seems to like the Chicago bunch a lot. They think alike and act alike. He grew up in a black church where the pastor put down whites and probably a lot of other groups. He probably dosen't like old people either (concerning his health care plan to let old people die instead of giving them medical treatment which is "too expensive". I judge a person on the way they treat others. not on the color of their skin.
  • No I don't think it's true. But Glenn Beck? Calling someone a racist? Isn't that a bit like Kim Jong-il accusing someone of being a communist dictator?
  • I have no doubt Glenn Beck said this. Glenn Beck says lots of stupid things. Glenn Beck has a High School Education and used to be a comedian... yep... says a lot...
  • Absolutely not. Glenn Beck seems to be a bit ignorant.
  • its glenn beck, take a second to think about that glenn beck fox news of course its not true
  • I firmly believe he is very partial /biased ..why else whould anyone sit in a church that spouts such as white men are devils....that is not Godly nor Just... but some blacks have a tendency to elevate black because of being black and character is not a concern, i speak of Jesse Jackson , OJ Simpson,etc... he has a strong reason for empathizing with his black half more.....its coming.....but color in this, which he is most aware....sees color not character.... his biography is sad...black family he did not know and hardly even knew was who he clung to....his father was a very deceptive man , even to his own father....deserted ,women and children without a thought....too wishy washy....but he will cling to the race that will support him no matter what.... thatsJustme
  • lately Obama is saying things that aren't really helping him.
  • It's Glenn Beck. It's on Fox News. Even if he didn't believe it was true, he would still say it because he is not allowed to say anything not negative about Democrats while on the air.
  • Obama is a committed, blatant racist, and Mrs. Obama is worse. Beck does his homework, and backs up everything he says with evidence.
  • No. I think he is a hypocrite, suffering from a persecution complex. He sees what he wants to see.
  • Fox “New” - now that is funny How about Fox opinion or Fox Fairytales
  • Yes it is true.
  • No, I don't believe Obama is a racist.
  • Nope, not at all.
  • I have absolutely no reason to believe that Obama is racist.
  • What makes you think so?
  • He don't care about black people too?
  • Yes. Anyone, or any administration that would make the accusation that anyone who opposes Onbama on any topic must be racist causes me to believe that such a person is racist at the heart of their thinking to even come up with such a cheap shot. No one that I know of who is against healthcare has mentioned Obama's race. No one at any of the Tea Parties that I've been to had a sign about his race. His name rarely even came up during the speeches. Obama and his supporters rush to use the race card. The race card has become very tattered and has many holes in it during this administration...and it only been in power a few months. It can only hold up the rest of his house of cards for so long. In addition, anyone who sat in Rev Wright's church listening to his racist sermons for 20 years, and did not decide to leave, must necessarily be a racist.
  • Other then the fact that Rev Wright wanted to be in a spot light once he realized camera's where rolling, at the expense of President Obama please show me proof that Obama is a racist. Hell I attended KKK meetings to see what how deep haterd was among some people, does not mean I am a racist because a bunch of folks stood around denouncing other races and religions while I listened to their conversation or preaching. WTF I am a mix bred here so prove to me that because someone listens to a conversation from a person that makes Obama or anyone an insta-racist!
  • He seems no more racist than the typical American.
  • No, but +3 for sticking your neck out there!
  • I sure hope not. A racist president in our times is contrary to so many American ideals and beliefs... He's made comments a couple times that make you go "huh?" But he's also made the same statement Cosby did about education and taking care of yourself instead of blaming others of different race for your problems. Maybe it all balances out. However, I find the comment that he's our first "black" president annoying.
  • Of course not. You've proposed no evidence to prove he is. Listening to someone else speak is not proof.
  • That's cool with me - frankly I see no evidence that Obama is a racist in any way, shape, or form.
  • ((roll eyes and sigh loudly))
  • I haven't seen any evidence of it.
  • I don't care. I don't live there. Even if I did, I still wouldn't care, like I don't care about my domestic politics. Doesn't change a thing in my life.
  • are we serious
  • i don't think he hates whites...but he is certainly partial and biased to blacks....even though his own black relations(father, family) abandoned him early on....he has a 'chip' for sure...its like he wants his black side to elevate him even though they were absent from his life.....i am sure his white grandparents never expected such biased ,unfair , partiality ,from him......fair and just would have made them proud....
  • Glenn Beck is the scum of the earth, yet he keeps running to the bank with all his cash because all those conservative right wing nuts.
  • Hating a race doesn't make you racist. Racism is the belief that race determines traits and capacities and that said traits and capacities determine superior races under a set of circumstances. Everyone is racist.
  • His mom is white.
  • As a typical white person who holds his religion & guns rights dear and did not go to a Church that Damned America I think Beck is spot on.
  • absolutely not. i would probably wear the title of racist more appropriately than obama.
  • That would make the family reunion a little awkward. I am basing this on a close family member. So, I am going with most likely not true. *two edits later*
  • watch him today....Obama's army....he is gathering....4:00...open your eyes......
  • I guess that would make ALL Black people racist. I'm sure most of us (Blacks) know, or have been "exposed to" at least one person with a deep seated hatred for whites. I'm also sure the same is true of whites. I guess EVERYBODY is racist, huh?
  • He seems to be a pretty good leader but a little biased towards his (more visibly obvious) ethnic group. Hardly surprising. It seems inappropriate to have a minority leader in such a large, influential country (please don't gimme the 'he's half white' thing; he identifies himself as more black than white due to his appearance so I'll go with that), but he seems to be doing a reasonable job and McCain wasn't great opposition. IF he harbours a 'deep-seated hatred for whites' he hides it well. Chances are he is no more or less racist than his white grandmother who, by Obama's own admission, exhibits some of the the knee-jerk reactions to different ethnicities that Obama himself may have done at times. As long as he and his advisers keep any bias on a leash it shouldn't do any harm.
  • I hope thats not true. Or els would that mean he also hated his mother? I highly doubt that. Everyone shows a little favoratism towards one race but hate? No, don't think so.
  • I don't think anyone could set and listen to that racist preacher for 20 years unless they agreed with him.
  • I think if he exposed himself he should be arrested and if found guilty should have to register as a sex offender.
  • Fox News dominates cable news according to Nielson Research. They have a bigger audience than their main rivals (MSNBC and CNN) combined! O'Reilly is now getting a bigger audience than the main CBS News and has been Number 1 in Cable News for 8 years. And Beck is trouncing the opposition too. See the numbers and weep: http://tvbythenumbers.com/category/ratings/cable-news
  • Glenn is a wacko and so is fox news
  • Give Beck enough time and the only sponsor he'll have left is a commercial for the Lush Limpballs show. No, Beck is having a tough time qualifying as an asshole. He's the shit left in the old outhouse.
  • Obama has a deep-seated hatred towards his mom?
  • I do not feel that the media should be exposing such vast opinions of the countries leaders due to Obama is trying to change things and there is so much controversy as it is already why add fuel to the fire and give him a chance to try and make the country better , sheesh its a big mess and if some one even a President of a different color can fix it, what does it matter, the lashing out and cutting down should be stopped and its time to side together with the President so that he can make a difference and maybe just maybe we could have a decent country for our future and our kids to live in because if it keeps up the way it is there is not going to be any future for America
  • well, let's see. He sat in a church for over 20 years that follows Black Liberation Theology. This is a Theology that calls for the death of whites. Hmmm sounds racist... When you have partial information about the Cambridge incident and your reflex comment is that the police were stupid when, in fact, they acted appropriately. Sounds racist... And when in your autobiography you state that you "want to purge the white blood from your body" Sounds racist... So yeah I think he is racist. Good Question.
  • It's funny how Fox News said we should all be patriots and support our president when George W was in office, bankrupting the country and doing his best to blow up several others. Now, with a black man in office, they have discarded their patriotism and have criticized and perpetuated crazy rumors about the man in charge without even stopping to catch their breath. It is FOX newsmen who are the racists. Those unpatriotic louses need to support their president, whatever color he is.
  • i believe he may have had issues with racists in the past that clouded his judgement of non blacks, but i believe he's overcome that. glenn beck has a deep seated hatred for non whites and non christians that seriously clouds his judgement.
  • That's impossible, Obama can only be half racist because he is only half white. Black people can't be racist. Beck doesn't know what he is talking about.
  • Beck is a commedian. THat said, I do believe king hussein is a racist.
  • I am in no way, shape, or form an Obama fan, but I don't think he is racist. He may have clouded judgement, about race, because of his exp. in life, but I don't think this makes someone racist. Racist is a term that is mis-understood and thrown around quite a bit, often without justification, or reason I added this is a comment and wanted to add it to my answer The Q ask what do you think about the COMMENTATOR not the REPORTER huge difference between news reporting ans commentary
  • Barack Hussein Bin Obama has made it blatantly obvious that he has a deep-seated hatred for white people. HE SAID SO, and wrote it in his book. Or perhaps I just don't understand what is meant by "racist."
  • The fact that he was a member of J. Wrights church for nearly twenty years and then when he was exposed as a racist Obama threw him under the bus,,that's enough for me.
  • Since he is half white with an Ivy League education: no. I think Glenn Beck engages in the most extreme use of distortion and hyperbole.
  • YES, BUT NOT RACIAL, BUT AGAINST ALL AMERICANS.
  • if he said that on British TV he would loose his job, be hated by everyone in the country and the program would be cancelled. everyone hates Gordon Brown but when Jeremy Clarkson called him a "One eyed Scottish bastard", most people where outraged.
