If you have a child or loved one in the military, do you ever become accustomed to them disappearing for weeks or months at a time?

Other than the increased worry factor due to being shot at, it is really no different than when your child goes off to college or gets married and moves to another state. Either way it can be weeks or months at a time between visits. If your child or spouse is in the military, though, many thanks for the sacrifices.
