  • Happens to me as well. I have been doing some research on this and have sadly turned up very little. I think humans are very under educated about the effects of sugar and so there is very little talk about it. I've only noticed it recently as I have started eating healthier, when I attempt to eat something high in sugar it really burns. I've read you should only have around 50 grams of sugar (preferably something besides processed sugars...think fruits/honey/molasses/naturally occuring) I think it's sort of like smoking...most humans tolerance for sugar has gone sky high and they do not even notice the effects anymore besides the sugar high they receive. Listen to your body I would say. (:
