  • Stereotyping is usually done by sight/ first impression. Categorizing is generally much broader and usually requires a bit more thought.
  • I don't believe there is a difference. They are both wrong. Why can't we just get rid of the categories all together? Categories are the reason for 99% of the violence and hate in the world.
  • Cauliflower is a vegetable....categorizing Cauliflower causes gas........stereotyping The first is always true no matter what you think of cauliflower. It is a vegetable. The second may or may not be true..therefore if you insist it always causes gas you are extrapolating a few experiences to the entire field and thus you are stereotyping. :)
