  • people who have never worked in food service, obviously.
  • People who work nights all week?
  • I tend to call them...rude and inconsiderate! The people working there have homes and families to get to! Coming in that late guarantees you'll be there past closing which means the employees will be there even later getting things ready for the morning shift! Such is the life of people in the service industry!
  • Not me. My wife and I get a late start on dining out sometimes, but if we can't get to a restaurant at least an hour before closing time, we go to a place that's open later. Perhaps they're people who put their appetites above the lives of people who work at restaurants, and whose dinners will be accompanied by the fragrance of ammonia-based cleaning fluids and vacuum-cleaner melodies. ;)
  • liferuiners! sometimes people can tell the staff is ready to go, yet they linger!
  • Perhaps they were already out for the evening and just left a play or movie and were hungry. Happy Sunday! :)
  • There is a scientific name for them. It's on the tip of my tongue.......ahh, yes, that's it! ASSHOLES!
  • Job security! That's part of the business. These people are called customers and if you are in the food business you have to have it in the back of your mind this is my money coming in the door, especially if you are a server. I've been in the food industry for several years, I know it might seem ignorant but you don't know peoples circumstances not to mention if they see the open sign they might not even no what store hours are. Irregardless they must be served!
  • People who like the idea of eating cleaning chemicals and whatever is leftover from the night, I suppose.
