Fine by me - although I don't much care for government getting involved with "religious" things.

There must be a lot of muslims in Hawaii.

I'm glad to see some of this American tollerence, that I hear so much about but see so little of.

As long as it's not a paid holiday, I'm OK with it.

This seems very silly to me. Do they have a special day for every other religion? If they do not, they are going to get raked over the coals by one group or another (if not multiple groups). What are they going to do when the Christians, the Jews, the Buddists, the Wiccans, etc. show up on their door asking where their day is?

Oh great, my birthday is now "Islam Day" in Hawaii. lol Well, it could have been worse, like "Spam Day."

1 - Hope it doesn't get passed into law. 2 - When is Lutheran Day, Buddhist Day, Atheist Day, ad nauseum? 3 - Is that another paid state holiday in Hawaii?
-
There are tons of Christian holidays on the calender, so one Islamic one that is not even really and Islamic holiday per say is no big deal to me.
-
Religion has too many days as it is lol, I'd rather not see anymore, but I don't have to participate against my will so I'm indifferent.
-
