No. Don't need to. I've seen 4 neighbors go to the poor house trying to do so.
-
HAHAHA!!!! That is FUNNY!!! I don't care what my neighbor thinks. They're nice people and all but I have no reason to try to impress ANYONE, much less my neighbors.
-
No. Never. What would be the purpose in that?
-
Yes and it never works, they see what I spend by my trash anyway!!HAHAHEHE
-
No, I would rather mind my own business then to worry about how much money does my neighbor have.
-
NO, I don't see the point in doing that for anyone, and certainly not neighbors who are all family members :-)
-
No. If you seem like you have a lot of money people will always be trying to take advantage of you and get some of it.
-
I'm not above admitting....that at times I might WISH I had the means to do that! But honestly, who would I be kidding? And how would I accomplish that? I drive a dinged up 90's minivan and own 3 mixed breed mutts. Besides they hear our conversations over that privacy fence. LOL
-
Quite the opposite, actually.
-
Hell no. I live in the projects. Last thing I want is my neighbors thinking I got money. First the borrowers show up then later the crooks.
-
i like to act like i have less, that way they wont ask to borrow any. LOL!
-
Sure do ,,,... I used some plywood, paint & extra wheels to make my home look like a double wide!!
-
We all live in the same 'hood. They know I am just as poor as they are.
-
No I have nothing to prove to these a-holes!
-
I prefer that my neighbors underestimate my income. It makes for better relations.+3
-
no but creditors are a different story!!! lol..
-
Why would I want to do that? Actually I'm fond of recounting how I bought my set of plates from the pound shop and they look indistinguishable from the mega-expensive set that some other guy bought.
-
No, I'm very modest. But it seems there are lots of people who've done just that in the past by being in debt up to their eyeballs!
-
I take the most pride in how frugal I am. I'm proud that my car was paid for in cash and gets 40+ miles to the gallon. I like that my jeans are second hand and my shoes are from winners. In my mind, the less you pay for what essentially fulfills the same needs, the smarter you are.

No. Actually, I know my husband and I have more money than some of my neighbors and it makes me uncomfortable. I'm an at home mom and we have a good income from my husband's job. Our next door neighbor, and good friend, is a single mom working her butt off at a low paying job to support herself and her kids. They are going without a lot of things my kids take for granted as a birthright-satalite tv, Xbox 360, PS3, A/C and heater, etc. I hate running out for dinner and bringing it home, knowing that she will probably be outside and see me. I know she can't afford to do the same for her kids, but we can't afford to do it for ours and hers too.

No andeb, I don't need to they can just see and know. +5
-
No, honesty all the way you always get found out.
-
No, not really but some people like to"Keep up with the Joneses!"
-
OOOH NO! Not my neighbor or anybody. I really think I'd be only fooling myself. It simply makes no sense attempting to creat a false perception of myself.
-
No why would anyone do that?
