  • What sort of "scan" was it? CT? MRI? PET? A solid white area could mean any of several different things. Have you recently injured the arm? What sort of pain are you experiencing?
  • The doctor called it a bone analysis or bone scan. I have already had a MRI and an EMG which both showed that my ulnar nerve is being pinched. My arm is currently in a brace that will not allow me to use it. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it is normal to have solid white spots on a bone scan of your arm or not? I do not go back to see the doctor for a week, so I was just curious.
