  • No, not one bit.
  • Not yet. He's stumbled, but no more that one would expect after two months. Following Bush's act, he doesn't have to do that much to look good. It's funny, but the local right-winger on WJR this morning was going all the way back to Franklin D. Roosevelt to show how Obama's "socialism" started. Some people never get it.
  • It was never good in the first place--before elected he was a closet socialist and now as President he's a proven socialist
  • Not at all.
  • Nope. I am not a huge Obama fan, but he hasn't done anything to diminish my perception (he also hasn't done anything to raise it either)
  • Nope, give the President a break, he's trying to bring this Country back online.
  • No, Not at all.
  • I'll make my final judgment, in November of 2012.
  • No, it has not. I never saw him as a savior or as the anti-christ. I saw him as the best choice on the ballot. I am still happy with the vote I cast. If I ever agree with ANY politition 100%, there would be something wrong with me.
  • No. So much ignored over the last eight years. Can't imagine running for, winning and stepping into a Presidency .. with "all this" to deal with. Not exactly a blank slate upon which to pur forth a platform. Not a "little course correction" as all Presidents do .. from one to another. In this case? Absolute domestic melt-down - inherited. Pendulum swing needed to now fix. Will take time. Sure didn't develop in 30, 60, 90 days. In fact, I flat out resent the policies that brought us here .. through neglect, contempt, deregulation and complete disregard for basic civil rights/liberties .. whether in prisoners or citizen's phone lines. But the POINT is I'm glad to see Obama taking a stand and LEADING. He's also TELLING US what he's doing and why. Some may work. Some may not. But I feel for the first time in awhile, that's someone's at the wheel! He's said he'll "own" what goes on in his administration. What a concept!!! I'm tired of having someone who didn't even acknowledge we HAD any issues. In fact, say anything - cover up anything - as long as the war and "contracts" got funded and awarded. Ok ... sorry ... I got waaaaay off here. We may go up, down and sideways here trying to deal with the ENORMOUS MESS sitting in front of us .. a mess we SHOULD have been told about .. and a mess that SHOULD have had dollars and energy allocated to it LONG before now!!! But my perception of our current President is that he'll pay attention - try things to the best of his (and his team's) ability. I'm very supportive of someone I believe is AWARE, TRYING, WORKING .. on our behalf. In fact, I hope enough citizens feel that way and go on to say "how can I help"!!!
  • NO! My perception of him is coming to light, i just hope everyone else will see it before its to late.
  • Not any more than any other greedy president. He has time to change that, but so far it seems to be the practice to give huge companies our money to save them, so the circle can continue.
  • No. Never liked him.
  • Not at all.
  • Yeah, but that's what happens when you don't have any TV or newspapers, and have stopped caring enough to look this stuff up online. You stop perceiving things.
  • Not one bit.
  • Not at all.
  • my perception of him still diminishes each time I hear about what he has done now or what he's trying to pass. B/c everything he stands for spells disaster.
  • My perception of Barack Obama will diminish when he has been in office for a sufficient enough amout of time for me to even see what his policies have wrought. It amazes me that the Bush lovers sat their with their heads up their butts for 8 years denying all the atrocities he's committed, but this man is trying to implement some positive change and everyone's an authority. No one can even claim anything of any merit when somone has been in office for a mere 6 months. Get a life, people.
  • No, it has stayed the same. I admire President Obama as a man, and for the position that he holds as President. I do not agree with his stands, his policies, and his philosophy. I do admire his style and work ethic, and his ability to get things done, even though I disagree with what he is doing.
  • Yes, it has. For all of the screams of "SOCIALISM!" from the Right, Obama has governed largely with a centrist incremental approach when I believe radical changes are needed. Furthermore, his failure to aggressively prosecute the war crimes of the previous administration borders on the unforgivable. Alas, I suspect Obama had a meeting with representatives of the Military-Industrial-National Security State Complex early in his term, and they explained to him what the acceptable parameters of 'change' would be.
  • He's not everything promised, but no president ever has been or ever will be. I'm quite pleased so far. I don't agree with everything, but under the circumstances he's done much better than his predecessor.
  • No. He didn't initiate the giveaway programs but he will take the flack. The "Joe" and "Jose" story is going to bite everyone on the ass. He must stop the merry-go-round.
  • Not really. He has done things I don't agree with (or failed to act when I thought he should) but I never expected to NEVER disagree with his decisions. However, we've only just passed the six month mark. I'll make my final decision on his abilities when he comes up for re-election.
  • I never expected a lot from whomsoever became President , I have been surprised by some of his speeches but I do not think he has been in the office long enough to have done very much yet.
  • No, he is trying his best to fix the multiple problems he inherited.
  • Not one bit.
  • No he admitted to using Coke or the illegal drug that it is and it has effected his mind he has no ability to lead nor does he possess logic or reason. He is a proven liar Video included.
  • no, i was never 'dillusional ' about him in the first place... my perception has been GREATLY MAGNIFIED...
  • I never liked him in the first place.
  • Not it hasn't. I didn't trust the man while he was campaigning for President and I still don't trust him. Just my honest opinion.
