We usually do them in our wood stove, the coals in the morning are great for that. But you can do it over a candle as well, takes some time but it works.

I wouldnt worry about it, I would just pop it in my mouth unroasted.

During a power outage I stumbled across a bag of miniature marshmallows. I then looked over at the pine scented candle I had lit and had an idea! I grabbed some toothpicks, and started roasting marshmallows. Oh how I wish I hadn't! You see, the scent they use for these candles is VERY artificial, and does not do justice to either the marshmallows or your stomache :(. Needless to say, I became a little bit wiser that night, even though I didn't get to enjoy roasted marshmallows.

... as a former military survival instructor, I know how to make fire, so my problem is never a lack of fire, but rather a lack of marshmallows ... I'm quite sure that I could find enough flammable material for some marshmallows, and get it lit ... ... or I could just use the electric coil on the stove top ...
