Pink Eye or Connectivities is a very highly contagious eye infection. Its possible you got it from the circumstances you have described. Wash your hands and eyes as often as possible and also use some mild anti-bacterial eye drops to prevent opportunistic bacterial infections. Once you have got it there is nothing you can do but to suffer it till your body develops antibodies to the virus. Stay home as much as possible and don't go about spreading the infection.
