  • My son seems to read my face all the time, what you are thinking, why are you smiling? And, I tell him, 'Son, I do not have to tell you all that goes in my head up'.
  • Yes. Good response to that might be something like "I'll smile when I have something to smile about, such as the fact that you are no longer talking to me, for example."
  • Yes. People always tell me I look upset, even when I'm in a good mood.
  • No, i do not hate it. i am thankful that i have friends and family that are concerned. You should be also thankful that you have someone that cares for you, to ask.
  • It depends how its asked and on how you are normally. Some people - naturally look miserable. So constantly asking them why they look upset is not a very good idea. If someone you know is normally happy and looks sad, then it is probably a good idea to ask them. What does make me more miserable is to be told to stop looking miserable. Thats not someone being sympathetic - it is someone moaning - which is going to have the opposite effect to what they want...
  • HAHAHA!! Hate it! We have a saying in Russia "A smile for no reason, is a sign of silliness".
  • Hmm...but it's not that hateful
  • i hate it even more when noone asks me
