  • Mechanics treatment of women and the way they try their best to over charge them because they think we all know jack shit about cars. Some do some dont, thats still no reason to be so unprofessional and rip off paying customers.
  • The isolation and marginalization of the elderly.
  • Discrimination against people who have mental illnesses is widespread and often ignored. Many times I'll hear of public officials wanting to lock up people who have a mental illness, even thouh they haven't committed a crime.
  • Father's rights.
  • old age discrimination. The "throw away" generation.
  • I think there is discrimination against bigger people. They are sometimes perceived as lazy, unkempt slobs.
  • For me it is really simple. Girly girls get discriminated against all the time. Somehow it is supposed to be terrible to be feminine and be proud of it. So many think that we are all gold diggers and bimbos. I have a bright future ahead of me and I shouldn't have to stop being myself to achieve it.
  • The discrimination of the white working class. They seem to no longer matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Reverse discrimination.Have had a couple of experiences with it.It wasnt pretty. One was funny though.Asked a black guy if he needed help pushing his car,he said, and i quote,"You need to move around snowflake".When i told my s/o,who is black,i thought she was going to fall out of her chair.
  • Actually two - ageism and the ignoring of men who have been abused by women.
  • Discrimination against the handicapped is constantly being ignored these days.
  • What the hells the matter with all you people? Not one of you mentioned blondes. And, I have to say, man's man, you have certainly opened a can of worms here.
  • OK. How about this: a short, old, hippie, right wing conservative, left handed, car salesman, biker, jesus freak moonie with an allergy that makes people think he has a cold all the time, married to a black hispanic woman.
  • I just want to say, what an awesome question. It's questions like this that are so stimulating about AB. It really makes you think and takes on a life of it's own. Reading all the different answers was enlightening, and, as serious as the question is, there is still room for humor. Where's dinky?
  • Against women.
  • Anorexic people Fat people Disabled people
  • I am incredibly smart and handsome. Sometimes I feel that lesser people than me exclude me from their company and assume an air of ...mistrust and awe when around me. I find it totally abhorrent.
  • I think we men are portrayed on t.v. a lot like idiots, when in fact most of us are quite level-headed, intelligent, responsible, and hard-working. I see that a lot on dumb commercials and t.v. shows. But these programs generally reflect the prejudice, immaturity and low intelligence of the people who create them.
  • Against overweight and homely people. It's probably the worst against homely people.
  • Things like French VS English or Ireland VS Scotland VS England. I find it completely ridiculous, and extremely sad that these are ways of life which define several countries and barely considered hatred. It's like, how the hell are we ever going to accept other ethnics like Asians and blacks if white people can't even get along with one another. Buncha crap.
  • Discrimination against smokers...
    • ARTICFOX700
Really don't think it's discrimination more like if you must smoke and kill yourself in the process do it in a reserved place
  • Discrimination against Catholics (largely regional any more, but still out there) Discrimination against those who don't fit cleanly into the binary gender box.
  • I think one of the most ignored, but important ones would be the Father's right to save his unborn child from abortion. It takes two to make a baby, so it should take BOTH PARENTS to abort it. As it stands right now, woman can choose life or death for their child; men really have to go along with her decision. His signature is not needed. It's not fair. It's a form of gender-discrimination. :(
  • Is this how it all ends....
  • I see a lot of reverse discrimination going on where there are actual quotas to hire minorities who are less qualified over someone who would be a perfect fit for a job. Schools for all women are allowed but schools for all male cannot exist. organizations where one race and join but whites are not allowed to do the same.
  • Discrimination against overweight and elderly people are ignored a lot. However, I think that it is pretty funny that some people discriminate against people with glasses. Not that I condone it, but isn't that odd? Its almost like unspoken classism, as those with higher incomes can afford things like contact lenses and lasic eye surgery.
  • People who have ugly faces are automatically losers who shouldn't have friends, shouldn't have sex, shouldn't have children, should be shunned by society.
  • aganist the fact that ZOMBIES EXIST!!! they are real and i can prove it!
  • people discriminate against gay people and the goverment doesnt really give a damn they could care less
  • Age. Against elders and youth. I'm middle-aged but since I appear at least 10 or 15 years younger, I constantly have to assert myself when meeting with strangers for business or even in general. It seems the younger you are (or appear to be), the less people think you know and want to challenge and make you prove your intelligence and/or experience.
  • People discriminating against adults with developmental disabilities. I am a 46 year old female, my disability is a hidden one. My disability is Autism Spectrum Disorder. I may not look like I am disabled but I am. I have applied for several jobs and nobody has called me back. Don't people realize that people with disabilities are good workers? We want to work, we want to be a part of the community like everyone else.
  • Men being assumed guilty in domestic disputes.
  • blondes
  • Discrimination against men
  • I believe that discrimation against the young soceity is often ignored. People have this stereotype that young people, teenagers, go around the town/city/other and vandalize, cause havoc, they get into fights, they shout at by-passers, they throw items at the elderly, they curse at people, they destroy perfectly good parks, playgrounds, etc. They drink alcohol in the town and they leave their remainings. This is completely unfair. Many elderly people have this notion about teenagers. Only some teenagers cause havoc like this. But it is unfair to judge all teenagers because of them. Do the middle-aged/elderly society forget about the teenagers who don't do these things?
  • Discrimination against women who want to make their own choices about their bodies without government or anyone else getting involved.
  • Age discrimination in the workplace Workplace bullying Human Resources Departments practice the first and won't touch the second one with a ten foot pole.
  • Discrimination of Christians (especially in the third world, but also a softer form of it elsewhere)
  • discrimination cause im short, ive lost jobs over it and companies can get real interest in me until i show up in person and then i never hear from them again, i get it from everywhere else too, people dont want to hang out with me, be friends with me cause they think being short means youre stupid, same for neighbors, they never knock on my door ever even though ive been here over 5 yrs but they knock on everyone elses. wish i knew how to change all this
