When I was a young kid, mid sixties through early seventies, we left tokens on our front porch for the "Borinquen Dairy" delivery truck. Those days are gone!

As a child up until I got married, my parents always had milk delivery. I think that they still had that service up until just 5-8 years ago in California.

many years ago, when I was a child, we uesd to leave the money in the milk bottle, at the letterbox, it was 4cents. thats going back a fair time ......... I dont believe NZ has milk deliveries any more.

We had it delivered when I was a kid. But, there's a dairy here in Cental IL that I see doing home delivery too. I was surprised to see that.

Yes, in glass bottles, then we got a milk machine (like the one in restaurants) that milk was ice cold. This was in the late 50's to early 60's.

No, I always go to the store walking and have to come back carrying that almost 5 pound gallon

When I was knee high to a grasshopper in the very early 1950's our local milkman used to deliver milk by pony & trap in big old fashioned churns.My mother used to take a jug and it was ladled out in pint & quart measures.Nowadays we buy all our milk from the supermarket in four pint cartons.

Until the late 60's.Almost everybory had the insulated box on the steps. In Eastern Ma , there was Hoods,United Farmers, Brox and a couple of others.

yes I do .. and the farmer's son comes to the door to collect the money every Thursday night! It is in plastic containers. When i was a kid it was delivered in glass bottles with a silver foil top - and in the winter it froze in a column , pushing the top off! Birds sometimes pecked at the foil lid. Ah, memories!

Yes. Half of the Indian households get delivery at home. I get it from the super market but sometimes they deliver when I am too tired to go there.

Yes.. we do get it. Milk Man comes every day morning ; picks the coupons and puts milk packts based on the no of coupons I keep in the bag..... we buy these coupons on monthly basis

No, but once I had water delivered in this huge barrel thing that was custom shaped/built for this water dispenser.
