Welcome to the world of tomorrow! Hope you brought your check book.

Oh. Theres are still bikes and sleds.. its just they are one video games now. :/
-
they don't make as much noise, not as expensive and every other child isn't getting one. Besides when they turn on the TV or walk in the store you don't see big flashing signs/ads for bikes and sleds..it's always hand held $300 games that make a huge racket and have to be upgraded every 6 months

that's why I decided on volunteering this year with my children. They want too much yet take it all for granted
-
I know exactly how you feel. My 6 year old surprises me with the type of items he wants for christmas. ALL electronics. I understand my 13 year olds desire for those kind of items, but not my 6 year old.

Tell them their list was not approved because they don't have the appropriate forms filled out in triplicate and signed by the necessary elf. Thus, they're getting bikes and sleds this Christmas and Santa's going to be pissed if they complain. Kids understand this sort of thing.

That's so 20 years ago mom, hey, it's all about gadgets now. My kids want everything in the Walmart electronics section.

Welcome to the 21st century.
