  • Well, I don't even know if you COULD seed straight off of a DVD... For Uploading: What you would need to do first is to make a .torrent file of what you want to upload. uTorrent has a pretty simple interface for doing this, so that's what I recommend you use. There should be a button near the top that when you hover over it says "Create New Torrent" and looks like a magic wand. Once in this process, you will have to designate a tracker to host the torrent file. This information can be found on the site you plan on uploading to. After you have the torrent made, upload it to the tracker of your choice. They make it pretty simple. A good choice for beginners would be somewhere like The Pirate Bay or Mininova or really anywhere. After you upload the torrent file, navigate to it using the site, and download it. When it asks you to choose a directory, point it to the location where the source file is stored, and it will begin checking the file. This will complete in a few seconds, and then it will be seeding. For Seeding Without The DVD In The Drive: Make an image of the DVD using a program like MagicISO. An image is a file that is an exact copy of the data on the disc. You may want to do this before you start making torrents of DVDs currently in your drive.
