Just click on "Options" in the upper rightish area and you should be able to switch to classic. I just logged in and I'm currently using Classic mode so it's definitely there.

You are in the same position that I am. I foolishly clicked OK to some message the other day when I logged into hotmail and now I am in a full windows live version. THERE IS NO LONGER THE OPTION TO SWITCH TO CLASSIC. I have found many responses to posts that you can click switch to classic from the inbox or from the options menu. These have been removed. =( My husband didn't click the button as I did and he still uses the classic view. He is able to switch between full and classic modes as those posts describe, but I am not. So it's off to Gmail for me I suppose. There are just too many negative sides to this new full windows live hotmail.
