Yes, off the top of my head Oldboy, Pan's Labyrinth, Chopper, and Night Watch are brilliant foreign films, and being from the UK anything from the U.S.A. is foreign to me too.

If you count movies set in Chicago but actually filmed in Toronto as foreign, then yes. Actually, a long, long time ago, I probably watched every foreign movie the local video rental place had on their shelves. Always got a kick when they spoke for, like, 25 seconds, and the subtitle said "OK, I will." If that's a true translation, there really are some lackadaisical languages out there.

I like samurai movies and Brittish sitcoms and crime series (like Midsomer Murders) and my wife and daughter love the Indian movies.

I just watched "Black," an Indian version of Helen Keller's story. Acting and screenplay absolutely fantastic. AND, no dancing or singing.

Not often, but the one's I have seen were fantastic. "City of God" drew me in completely. I highly recommend "Innocent Voices". Both are based on true stories
