  • I would like to hope that I would return the wallet in the hopes that at least there would be a reward. CARMA is a bitch and it will come back to bite you in the ass. Just think, if it was your wallet you would want them to return it to you. RIGHT
  • Would $100,000 even fit inside a wallet?
  • What wallet? Hehehehe.........
  • Return it because I would want someone to do the same for me. Besides banks are required to track large cash transactions and surely the person who lost it would have reported it stolen. They would find out if it went through a bank.
  • Wow, that's a lot of money! I'm sure someone's looking for that. I'd love to return it and get an honest reward out of the deal. Then again, WHY would someone be carrying that much cash? He's a drug dealer, or something, I assume. Even if he's not, odds are if he carries around a thousand hundred-dollar bills, I'm sure he's completely loaded. I'd keep it. Unless I heard he was looking for it or something, I'm sure he's a pimp, at least! I'd keep it, and I'd keep quiet about it.
  • Honestly? Depending on how far away it was, I may knock on the door and drop it off. I'm not mailing the empty wallet and offering to return the money. I would give the money back - if I couldn't get to the person, I'd write them a letter and include my phone number to let them know I had it and where to pick it up from.
  • I'd return the wallet :)
  • Return it, now if it was a bag of money in the million dollar range and no way of finding the owner well maybe turn it into the police, because it's probably drug money and they WILL be looking for it ... ~Nemo~
  • I would just HAVE to return the wallet, and it would kill me to do so. If my kids were with me, I'd also have to decline any reward offered.
  • I'd almost certainly take the money, and throw the wallet away - rationalizing that someone with that much cash on them was going to do something illegal with it.
  • i would give it back :)
  • I'd give the person a call and tell them I'd found it. I'd either deliver it to them or have them meet me somewhere where I could get it to them. And, I'd hope they were generous enough to give me a reward. . .
  • I'd buy a throne
  • I'd find out about the person, if he made the money thru drugs or illegal activity I'd keep some of it and give the rest to victims of whatever crime he/she was involved in. Otherwise, I'd return it.
  • i will return his wallet. just wallet i m not talkinh about money and other valluable things in wallet :)
  • send half to me & keep the rest! :) keith in memphis
  • HEH. Id keep it. Horrible me. ~+~
  • I would have to return the wallet. Not my money or my wallet.
  • easy answer. no doubt about it. now, if I was starving...I would still return it and then beg for a sandwhich.
  • If someone is careless enough to lose that amount of money they are too stupid to deserve it anyway, and would probably just spend it on magic beans or something. If I was walking around with that amount on me it would be welded to my inner intestine, not casually hanging out my back pocket. So, yes I'd keep it, spend most of it on booze, drugs n' prostitutes, and probably just waste the rest.
  • id give it back and hope for a nice reward!
  • Contact the police and let them return it for me. Anyone who carries $100,000 in cash is suspicious in my book, and I wouldn't want to contact them myself
  • I'd send him a thank you card from Aruba.
  • Finders keepers, losers weepers may be a tempting way to go. However, it's not my money and I would feel forever guilty if I just took it. I would return it.
  • There's really two things one can do: keep the money or return it. I hate people who keep the money. I once lost my wallet in a theatre with two silver dollars kept in the coin purse. Luckily someone turned it into the lost and found held it for me but the two silver dollars were missing, the little bastards. But I was happy to get my keys and ID back.
  • 100k. Im so ashamed 2 say this....but honestly I couldn't pass that up. When opportunity knocks, u better answer the door. Im keeping it. Because 99.9% of the time if he's floating around with that kinda cash he's sefinately n 2 something illegal. So im gonna take it. Lol or maybe he's just stupid. In that case im gonna teach them a lesson and take it lol. Easy answer 4 me
  • Bye bye!!
  • Take the money and trash the wallet.
  • I would keep around 20-50k and return the rest. The way I look at it, if i send the guy 80-50k back, then its that much more than he would have had if I kept it all.
  • As much as I could really use the $$$$ right now to save my home ; I'd have to return it . I don't want anything that is not mine .
  • I would send them a thank you card, thanking them for clearing my mortgage and allowing my children to go to private school.
  • A wallet will not hold $100,000 in it.
  • Anyone carrying $100,000 in his wallet is obviously a crook as well as a fool. Consequently, I'd have no qualms about NOT returning the money to him. The question is, is the money vital evidence in a criminal prosecution? I'd have to conclude, "Most likely, yes!" and thus should turn it in to tha authorities. Cops being somewhat suspicious themselves, I think I'd call the press and have them watch/film me handing it over to the IRS -- and assuming it results in a tax evasion scheme, I get 10% of anything the IRS claims ... and anybody carrying 100 Grand around probably has over 10x that they're hiding from the IRS, so I'd probably come out ahead.
