Veal parmesan & Scallopini *sorry this was to be posted as as comment not an answer!!
-
Yes I have and I would eat it again, though not the very young variety. There are different kinds of veal and you can tell by the color what it is.
-
Yes, I would. Years ago in Chicago, I used to go to a butcher and buy veal. I don't even know where to get it now.
-
I have... Its yummy. but I do not believe in cooking it in the milk of its mother. So egg and milk wash is O U T! But I probably never will again simply because its so damn expensive. I dont see anything wrong with eating the flesh of an animal as long as you are pro active and understand where the meat came from if it was free range and lived a good and healthy life. If it is killed humanely and its life was good then I am not against anything meat!
-
not unless I knew it was raised in a humane manner. it is typicaly raised in a box no bigger than itself and that is unacceptable. I will eat any meat except human just for the experience but while the animal lives it needs to be treated like an animal, not a machine.
-
I love veal. I would eat it again, anytime.
-
I only eat veal if the baby cow's feet have never touched the ground and has been separated from it's mother since birth. I don't eat veal. Even this conservative Republican has his limits.
-
Yes I have, and yes I would eat it again.
-
I have when I was a child, my mother cooked it. I would not again.
-
I have, and it is quite tasty. Not something I want to eat every day though.
-

-
...faster than an OLYMPIC sprinter!!!

I love veal and make veal marsala, veal parmesan, weiner schnitzel, and veal stew. It is one of our favorite meats.
-
I haven't and wouldn't. Calves raised for veal are kept in pens to small for them to turn around, to prevent them for developing muscle. They are denied solid food and deprived of water. They are kept anemic to produce a light pink flesh. Conditions make them very susceptible to health problems. There are some who practice more humane ways of veal production, but this is not normally the veal you will find in a restaurant or grocery store. I am a vegetarian, but am by no means a fanatic and do not judge or condem others for their choice of diet. The treatment of calves for veal, however, seems particularly inhumane. If possible, I encourage people to buy free range meat products.
-
I have a couple times, long before I became vegetarian.
-
Nope and never.
-
Yes I have had it and will eat it again the next time I'm at an Italian restaurant.
-
Yes I would. Veal al limone is my favorite. +4
-
Yea, I've eaten veal. I like the taste of it, but I find that it has to be cooked just right otherwise it gets rubbery.
-
Yes I have... with tomato sauce and melted cheese. YUM!
-
Sure I have. Would. Why?
-
I used to eat it and love it...before I knew what it was. Now that I know, I will never eat it again. So cruel!
