Thorpe, Minnesota, USA. Population in 1984 = 7, Population in 2000 = 37. When I drove through it in 1984. there were two mobile homes, a grain elevator, and a gas pump.

And this place is out in the middle of nowhere in west central Minnesota. I think the closest other town was about 40 miles. It was basically a husband and wife, their two sons, the son's wives, and I think on of the son/wife couples had a kid.

Hey Nelson - No picking on my home state, I'm sure your state has got some real loser cities too! 2 mobile homes sounds pretty exciting - think of all the fun you could have with 37 people - you could have one mean game of naked twister..........

MrBLT, I grew up in Southern MN (about 17 years there), so I have earned the right to poke some fun. And I'm sure Washington State has plenty of loser cities, I just haven't been to them.
