It also depends on how much the woman trusts you to tell you the tructh. If she thinks you will judge her or think less of her shes not going to tell you the truth.

I'm not a girl, but when a woman has a large number of partners it grosses me out. that's why i just don't ask, and if i like the girl i ask her not to tell me.

Women are complicated creatures, lieing about things that they feel others will never know, means that they can just carry on lieing, the size of the pusy can give it away.

In the days before medical treatment of STDs, a promiscuous woman was also more likely to be dangerous - though this applies to men as well, for whom the stigma is much lower.

In the days of reliable voluntary contraception, this is obsolete. But attitudes from past times have a very long lifetime.
