  • No. They don't even cover the Seven Deadly Sins, nevermind the minor ones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sins
  • no,People can't keep the easy ones forget the hard ones.
  • Naw, but it's enough for the believers. We don't want to get into the nitty griddy and spoil their fun thou
  • Is Farting in church considered a sin? My son and I had a long debate about that one recently. I believe we concluded that the way he did it was but it can be ok in certain situations.
  • Unless you are Jewish the 10 Commandments are only good for teaching, They do not apply to Christians. Although all are repeated in the New Testament Christians are responsible to only two commandments given in Matthew 22:37-40. If you can live truthfully to these two commandments they cover everything in the 10 commandments and more... There is only one sin that is not forgivable; Rejecting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. What may be sin to one may not be sin to another. Most sins given by churches are church sins and not Bible sins. Some of you may not know of what I speak and others will say I am wrong...I can show many places I am corect Biblically but not church wise.
  • There are actually 613 commandments. The '10 commandments' is the Reader's Digest version.
  • Most of them, but we humans are pretty sneaky!!!
  • Yes, though you must understand each of the commandments, and the terminology used to see it as it really is. For example, murder includes all kinds of murder, such as premeditated, manslaughter and such, and yes, it does include abortion, for that is premeditated each time. One more example would be adultery, for that does not simply mean marital infidelity. It stands for all sexual perversions imaginable, including homosexuality/sodomy, incest, and beastiality. Lastly, Jesus summed up all ten in two commandments. Love thy God with all that thou art, for half of the commandments are directed towards our relationship with God and the other is summed up by the commmandment to love our neighbor/friend as thyself.
