  • Not sure about caramel coloring, but some natural flavorings contain gluten. Celiac patients cannot tolerate gluten, which is derived from wheat, barley and rye. Oats are okay, if they are truly gluten-free, usually must purchase from a health food store. Even Quaker told me they could not guarantee their oats were gluten free, because they are manufactured in a facility that also processes wheat. Fruit is okay.
