they are doing that here. they have locked the snack machines during school hours though they do unlock them after lunch (and what sucks is that they lock them for the teachers to). used to kids could buy sodas for lunch.not anymore. They have gone to serving things like fruit and things for lunch. every once in a while they will serve ice cream. The govt sends the schools a list of what they have to serve..it's in a big book. the schools have no control over that..it's all a federal program. schools just serve what the books say

why should it be only the schools problem? why dont parents care what the schools are feeding the kids? why dont parents teach their children about proper nutrition? why do so many parents stop at mcdonalds for dinner?
