What are some basic golf tips for a beginner?

    The first and most basic tip I can give you would be to look at the ball until it is gone. Don't lift your head when hitting the ball. We all do it because we want to see the ball take off, don't worry about it and just keep your eyes on the ball you are trying to hit.

    First seek out a qualified teacher and take lessons as an individual or in a group. Most rec districts have group lessons. I started playing at 25 in the Navy, took my first lesson at 30-many, many bad habits w/o proper instruction. As in all sports, learn the fundamentals-grip,stance,
    club selection and don't get discouraged-Golf is a vary humbling game, but a game for a life time. Good luck!

    i'm only 15, but i'm a game freak and have played every video game on golf. You should pay attention to your backswing as well as yopur forward swing. You do not want your club to go over and down because that might cause a hook or slice. Watch the golf channel for more tips.
