Normal rate of conception is 80% after the first full year of marriage, so relax and don't worry.

Just because it's only been 5 months doesn't necessarily mean anything's wrong with you. I would, however, consult your doctor if you're that worried about it. There are ovulation kits on the market you can use to test to see just when you are ovulating. But, as was stated in an above answer, if you've been on b.c. pills for a while, it will take a while for all the effects to work themselves out. If you're stressing over it, that could also be a factor. To relieve the stress first talk to your doctor, then just relax and enjoy the baby making process. It's supposed to be fun, not stressful. Good luck.

No. My wife and I tried for 14 months after we were married to no avail. We then went to the doctor and he told us everything looked fine, (after several tests, yes, even sperm count). He told us to give it another 6-8 months, then he would send us to a specialist. Wouldn't ya know it? Two months later, Bingo!
And, don't be fooled into thinking that it will always be hard to get pregnant. Our 2nd and 3rd happened on the very first try! Amazing! Good luck to you.

No there are alot of reason for you not getting pregnant. Your doctor should be able to go over them with you. One if you have been on birth control for a long time it can take the body 6 months to a year to get pregnant. Also there are hormone issues that can play a part in your attempt. Get a visit with a doctor that specializes in that field and take it from there.

5 months is honestly not that long. Keep on trying for about 1 year before consulting a doctor. For most women, the most fertile time is 5-7 days after the end of your period. It can take sperm 3-4 days to find the egg. So as soon as you are done menstruating start having sex and do so every day or at least every other day for the next 6 days. Then when you do ovulate sperm will already be present and you have a better chance at conception. It worked for me!:) Good luck and have fun trying!

Only a doctor who does some tests on you can determine that. And we are not doctors. Go see your physician or Planned Parenthood also can help I believe.
